Thanks mixedgreens. Having spent nearly an hour trying to get through on the 0870 number over the last few days, I tried the 01506 421884 this afternoon and got straight through.

Please note that this number rings straight through to an operator, without all the menus. Based on the on hold messages, I think it is the "pubs" support section.

List of currently working Sky numbers:

Customer Services - 0800 051 2595, 01506 831 781 (TBC), 01506 421 884, 01506 421 702
"TiVo" Customer Service - 01506 421 710 (will deal with normal customer service enquiries)
Sky Anytime - 01506 421 895 (ignore "star" prompts)
"Activation Line" - 01506 421 832 (TBC)

Please can you try the (TBC) numbers before the confirmed numbers, and let us know if they work or don't work.

As always, let us know if any of the currently working numbers stop working!

thanks loads to all on here

i spent literally hours on the phone to sky yesterday trying to complain and then trying to complain about not being able to get through to complain!

but after reading the discussions about sky on this forum this morning i thought i'd try for a goodwill payment against phone calls. so tried a couple of numbers and got through on 01506 421778 (from a thread from oct 2007) where the guy was really helpful and polite and gave me £5 back. hooray!

thanks everyone, will be using this site all the time form now on
