A check of the contact page on the R&J Book Club site reveals a customer services number in addition to the 0870 orderline (quoted in the OP) and address (also quoted in the OP). It is 01234 567891 and it is not recognised.
I wonder where the ADMAIL address goes. I think that it's likely that this is operated by an outside company, but I can't find any more clues as to what this company is.
Perhaps the company operates other book clubs and uses similar 0870 numbers. A Google is in order...
