Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by wooley on Oct 12th, 2004 at 2:40pm
Dinger,
try 0870 600 3009. It's a national rate number that is an alternative to 0906 302 5151 |
Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by pauld on Oct 12th, 2004 at 4:33pm
There is a number listed already in the database for an alternative to 0906 302 5151 it is 01349 885040.
As mentioned in a previous response, when they answer on the 01349 885040 they tell you that calls cost 50p a minute, but it's not the case. |

I've just tried thsi number and it says the other person has hung up!

Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by tonynat on Dec 16th, 2004 at 9:22pm
O2 and Customer Services should not be used in the same sentance.
Why bother ringing O2 at all, when the contract period is up.... they are history! Even using their direct number on their bills, you still have to wait for 30 minutes or more! |
Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by BAINES on Dec 22nd, 2004 at 11:08am
Tonynat
I couldn't agree more >:( >:(, my contract is up end Feb, where to go next is the question, anyone any recommendations ?. I have to ring O2 with a query EVERY TIME I get a bill from them, which they SOMETIMES remember to sort out the following month, what a pain. ::) |

Title: Re: O2 monthly Post by DaveM on Mar 15th, 2005 at 2:31am
See our O2 listing in the database. The Geographic equivalent of the 090x may just have been transferred, if we're very lucky.
Get back to us with your results. |

Will the 01349 numbers count towards my free minutes (I've got 400 anyone anytime mins)? Are they just normal landline numbers? |
Title: Re: O2 monthly Post by Alternative on Mar 20th, 2005 at 11:48pm
This is a conventional landline geographical number for 'Dingwall' and also includes the other following areas:-
# Alness 01349 # Culbokie 01349 # Dingwall 01349 # Evanton 01349 # Invergordon 01349 The number should therefore count particularly if you have 'cross network' minutes, but don't hold me to it! |
Title: Re: O2 monthly Post by DaddyG on Apr 5th, 2005 at 5:54pm
I've tried 01349 887193 and even though they tell me thats its costing me 50p per minute I've checked my online bill and it definitely uses my free minutes. I've used it a few times now and every time the 02 person says that the call is costing 50p and I should dial a different number (I can't remember what it is) that will only cost me 15p per min!?! Me thinks I shall stick with the 01349 number!
Thanks for your help! |
Title: Re: O2 monthly Post by gabbyevs on Apr 5th, 2005 at 6:04pm
yeah thats wot i mean they tell me to ring the lo call rate one but i dont want to coz it will cost me more!
|
Title: Re: O2 monthly Post by DaveM on Apr 6th, 2005 at 1:33am
Let me just put this straight for you!
The 090x number is just a service that is attached to a standard Geo number (ie. 01349 887193), so whatever you would hear on the 090x line, you will also hear on the Geo number. The same goes for any 08xx alternatives also. So don't worry about what they say. As long as you put 141 in front of the number you call, they will not know where you're from or which number you rang. ;D |
Title: Re: O2 monthly Post by BarGin on Apr 7th, 2005 at 5:26pm
O2 have recently changed my Customer Services number to: 0870 444 3333. Does anyone know of a geographical alternative to this?
|
Title: Re: O2 monthly Post by gabbyevs on Apr 15th, 2005 at 8:03pm
theyve just me theyre getting rid of the 0906 number so we'll have to find a different geog number after that

Title: O2 Customer Services (for pay monthly customers) Post by gtz101 on Apr 19th, 2006 at 11:24am
Hi,
I was wondering if someone could please help me with the geographical number for O2's customer services (for pay monthly contract users) please Their non geographical number is 08702 410 202 and its charged at national rate and DOES NOT come out of your cross network inclusive munutes. I have been billed for this in the past. Customer Services: 0219 HQ/Bury, O2 online, Dummers Lane, BL9 9QL |
Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by gtz101 on Apr 19th, 2006 at 8:25pm
so, does anyone have a number please?
|
Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by gtz101 on Apr 19th, 2006 at 8:30pm
Carol, the 01753 565000 doesn't exist anymore. It doesn't work.

Does anyone have an alternative number for the O2 Direct Debit Team?
The non-geographical number I have been given is 08702 203 299. I don't yet know whether any of the other O2 Finance or Customer Service numbers listed here will work - I cannot call them now because they are only open 8-5, Monday-Friday. Thank you |

Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by JoePublic on Apr 21st, 2006 at 7:29pm
Customer Service Freephone Number 0800 005 005. Which is listed on this site. ;)
|
Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by carusis on Apr 22nd, 2006 at 8:38am
As I said, I'll try that on Monday - the Direct Debit dept is only open 8-5 Monday to Friday.
Freephone numbers are useful, tho not entirely as I'll have to go find a landline phone somewhere... |

It's been discussed somewhere on the site before, that a company issues London numbers charged at geographic rates on the 0200 range. These are used as dial through numbers for freephone numbers. Perhaps someone could point in the right direction, as it could be handy to store this in my mobile incase I need to phone a freephone number whilst out. As for the O2 0800 number, I have called them a few times, and they ask for my number, then say I phoned the wrong department (which is of course correct, but obviously have to act dumb as I don't want to show I deliberately called the wrong department) and then put me through to the correct billing department. I've never had a problem with this method. |

Just found a number that answers "Welcome to O2." No idea what department it is; it seems that nearby numbers are for different companies, such as Peugeot. Perhaps it is a third party call centre. The number is 020 89732948.
Other numbers answer with "Listening Company." See Listening Company, a call centre supplier. |

Hi,
I'm looking for a cheaper number for the mobile phone company O2's customer services. My phone is on the wonk and I want it dealt with without paying them more money on the phone. The original number is 0870 5214 000. Can anyone help me? Tom |

There are quite a few entries for O2 in the Say no to 0870 database. An unverified entry is 0800 9777027 which is entitled "Network customer services". |

Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by andy9 on Oct 30th, 2006 at 1:50pm
I'm surprised it isn't mentioned above
- from a contract phone try calling 100, which is free from payg, I believe 100 is probably chargeable |
Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by bbb_uk on Oct 31st, 2006 at 11:06am
For the record, o2 no longer have an 09x premium rate number for any of their customer services. All customer services for either Online or normal retail customers, PAYG or contract are on 0870 for which try alternatives listed in the database.
Due to this I've removed all reference in the database to their old 09x numbers. |
Title: Re: O2 Customer Services Post by Dave on Nov 17th, 2006 at 2:10am
Just come across 0113 3881000 in the unverified database. It now has a recorded message giving various 0870 numbers for contract, pay as you go etc. However, numbers following it may be worth a try. ;)

Another number that answers as "O2 Member Services" is 0113 3069265. It's not a 24 hour one.

Title: 02 (UK) Limited Post by menhir on Jul 27th, 2007 at 9:31am
Can anyone assist with a geographical phone number for Customer Service for 02 (mobile phone company) please? I have an 0870 number which I prefer to avoid.
If my operator was accessible I could dial a free phone number, however, without a network connection I cannot use my mobile phone. I have to resort to calling customer services on the expensive 0870 with my landline, which I don't want to do. Thanks. :) |
