can any tell me the number for NTL BROADBAND TOPSET BOX SUPPORT . I only have  0845 650 0125 and they would not give me any other number, saying that non-geographical number did not exist ,but we know differant

I always get support on 0800 052 2000, and follow the menu prompts.  You should be put through to technical department at no cost.

dial 150 and ask to be put thru' to Tech Supp (tell em that you were cut off, and ringing their line is the only no. available
voila you're in, for free..

I have an ntl cable modem
and needed support on more than one occasion

I have always telephoned their freephone number
and followed the prompts.. however you can always hold for an operator to answer you then put you through.. this is designed for people who do not have touchphone facilities.. I have even got tech support this way which is a designated 0870 number!
just give it a try weekdays 8am>8pm

Freephone number is 0800 052 2000 - you need to key in your whole phone number then wait till you hear the option for Broadband support

yeah ntl are atleast nice enough to put you through on their freephone number if one desires.. go pay the 50p a minute number if you wish, but hey :)

No, that number isn't for broadband support. I tried it, they said broadband technical support number is 0845 one as stated in original post.

If you call 0800 052 2000, there IS an option for broadband tech support. I should know, I'm a TV, telephone and broadband customer. You MUST be patient and wait for the correct option as this number is their general number which covers EVERYTHING if you're willing to wait for the correct option.

You need option 3 (faults and broadband technical support) then option 1 (broadband internet faults).

I have just called them at 12.11 on 14 September!!!!!

Do not post regarding inaccurate numbers without trying them first!!!!!

Well, I tried them earlier and it didn't work. They transfered me around to different number that they asked me to call.

I've always got through on the 0800 number quoted in replies above.
But if you want to hassle them at Head Office their geographic number is 01256 752000.

gtz101, try calling in the way I've said if you choose any option other than the correct broadband faults option above you WILL be told to call the 0845 number. Believe me, it's happened to me!!!! Just make sure you follow my instructions to the letter and you should get through. I've never had any problems.
