Anyone have a non-geographical number for Eurotunnel bookings please?

Brian,
The geographical number you are after is: 01303 297800 Thanks Daniel |

I have tried bypassing Eurotunnel's 0870 5353535 number by calling the alternatives listed in the database.
01303 272222 was answered as "Eurotunnel Security" and I was referred to the 0870 number. 0800 0969992 is listed in the database as "Reservations" but is now just a recorded message giving travel information. I tried the third number, 01303 271444, which is Customer Services, but this department was closed at the time of my call and I will have to try again. To rub salt in the wound, when I resorted to the 0870 number several times earlier this week, I had to pay to listen to a message that they were too busy to take my call and that I must phone again. This evening I did not get that message, but instead a time-wasting announcement before being dumped into the queuing system, whereupon I hung up. At least I have a legitimate complaint to take up with Customer Services when I get through to them and I shall certainly take the opportunity of asking them for a geographical alternative. |

Well I did get through on the Customer Services number, where they agreed to deal with my booking change "since you have come through on this number" but they refused to give a geographical number for future use and were dismissive of my complaint about the cost of calling their 0870 lines and the time wasted queuing on these. Told me there is no prospect of the company reconsidering its policy in this regard.

The fax number is 01303 288 784, so the number you want could be nearby.
I checked what number they were using in 1999, and it was the same NGN but in its 0990 form! Found a few other numbers. Seem to be for bookings to take bikes on the shuttle: 01303 282 923 01303 288 933 or 288 680. Note: freight bookings are on 288 660. |

I use the numbers myself and I can tell you they work OK - but only during working hours !! After hours you do get the security staff on the main number. The 0870 however transfers to the after hours number (which we don't have yet).
Same thing goes for the Customer Services number I'm afraid. So unless someone comes up with the after hour number, sorry but WYSIWYG. :-/ |

Hi folks :)
This is my first post and I've already read the Johnny Debt conversation and you guys have me quivering in my boots trying to get this right!!! I warn you now I am slightly computer (and especially google) illiterate so please talk to me in simple non-technical speak or I won't have a hope of understanding :-[ (it's taken me about an hour to work out how to register with your site!) I am looking for an alternative to Eurotunnel's Tesco Booking Line: 0870 2410276. Info I have: I have searched: both your databases (Eurostar's there but not Eurotunnel); the Eurotunnel paperwork I have about booking; the Tesco 'Deals' web pages; Eurotunnel's website. The address to send the tickets to after booking with them is Sales Support (TESCO), Eurotunnel Group, Cheriton Parc, Cheriton High Street, Folkestone, Kent CT19 4QS but I don't know if this is related to the phoneline. There's lots of numbers for phoning from abroad on the Eurotunnel website but I don't understand what's what or if any might be UK numbers. The page is http://www.eurotunnel.com/ukcP3Main/ukcPassengers/ukcCompanyContactUs/ I'm going to keep trying to find it myself so I will post back if I find it myself... Thanks honeys :-* |

Please don't, the information you've provided is useful. I have merged your query withe thread already in existance on Eurotunnel. mim wrote on Apr 12th, 2006 at 2:10pm:
There are some entries for Eurotunnel in the database. Go to the search page and type eurotunnel in to the Please enter a Company Name to search for box and press the Search button. ;-) I suggest you try some of those numbers in the database or ones above in this thread. |

Ah Dave,
You're not so scarey after all, phew!! Thank you :-* 01303 297800 was the right number (now I just need to complain to Eurotunnel who've raised the price nearly £15 since I last travelled in November last year!!) |

Thought I should just update that one of the numbers for Eurotunnel in the database (01303 271444) no longer works but refers you to their 0870, email or an address to which to write. As the email had already failed to answer my question, I tried 01303 272222 which did work & I was transferred to Reservations. Perhaps the database could be updated. Thanks.
