Whirlpool number try 020 8649 5000 it's the main switch board ask for wich department you need. ::)

I am trying to find an alternative number to the 0870 4294280 Listed in the Phone book for the Philips repair centre.

I've joined this thread with the existing one. The Whirlpool UK switchboard number is above.

Is there an address in the Phone Book? Searching our database reveals several entries for Whirlpool service centres, each with numbers starting 0870 42942xx. These appear to go to independent repair companies.

Is this one such company you are looking for?

There is an entry in the unverified listings for that 0870 with the alternative 01892 836311. Unfortunately there's no description apart from "Customer Services". However, Googling the number reveals that it is for:

Whirlpool (UK) Ltd
Unit H
Paddock Wood Distribution Centre
Paddock Wood
Tonbridge
TN12 6UU

Please give some feedback saying whether it works or not.

I bought Ikea's appliances when they installed my new kitchen.  The oven door on the Ikea Whirlpool oven's door exploded spontaneously (no kidding! see my blog).

Ikea have been very good about it all; except that I must call Whirlpool to confirm a date for the service engineer to come and do a "survey".

The number they gave me for Whirlpool Service is 0870-4294270.  Ring it and be put on hold...

I didn't find it in the database; so added it with a reference to an existing (unverified) geo number.  I have since tried the geo number I put there and sadly, it has been disconnected and the forwarding number, 01202 532007, has nothing to do with Whirlpool service engineers...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

See the above thread. I'm unsure as to whether they issue different 0870s for different parts of the country and whether these go through to sub-contractors who do the repairs. If anything is of any use or doesn't work from the above information, feedback would be appreciated.

We also had a Whirpool oven door explode into many pieces - it was replaced as inside the guranteee. The enginer told us he had come across it before.

The numbers on our registration card are:

Outside London 0345 898989
London Area 0181-649 8989

These numbers will now not work as the prefixes have now changed.

0345 898989 is now 0845 7898989
0181 6498989 is now 020 86498989
