Ever since Philips CS - 0870 900 9070 - promised me a freeview box I have had cause to speak to them because of non-delivery. A proper number would be extremely useful.

I am also trying to find a number for Philips re a shaver, the ngn is 0845 6010354.  I have tried the numbers suggested in the earlier post &, if they are answered at all, the operator gives an 0845 number, to which I reply I don't use them as they are too expensive - no response other than "sorry, that's the only number".   If anyone has a geo no for this, would be most grateful.   The details I have are:   Philips Domestic Appliances & Personal Care, Philips Centre, Guuildford Business Park, Guildford, Surrey GU2 8XH.   Thanks.

Thanks, but when I tried this number, all they say is they must give me customer services no which is, guess what, 0845!   Also, Guildford nos are 01483 (one of my son's lives & works there but I don't think would be prepared to go & collect a spare part for his younger bother's shaver!) so I don't know where 01293 nos are but must be somewhere else.   I had tried 192 without success.   Any other ideas?   There doesn't even seem to be an email address I can use.

Their published address doesn't have to match the area code, thanks to modern technology.

A Google of philips 01483 brings up some results.

Eureka!   Dave, you are brilliant!  Rang 01483 298630 and the lady on the switchboard put me through to the relevant department with no query about where I got the number or suggestions I had to phone anyone else.   A very helpful man answered and they are even replacing the lost shaver lead for FREE!   It is not only the cost of the 0845 calls, but you seem to get nicer, more helpful people on the direct geo nos!   Hope this helps others & that these nos can now be added to the verified list.   By the way, am having a bit of trouble accessing the unverified list.  Have also noted how to "google" for info.

Just thought I'd let you know that after I had a look in the Hall of Fame I clicked on the Philips UK link..

It appears they have reverted some numbers to 0844..

Thanks. I've removed Philips from the Hall of Fame.

The support menu on 0844 338 0489 can be reached by dialling the online shop on 0800 331 6016 and selecting the option for technical support.  ;)

There are still, however, other support numbers we don't have an alternative for. If someone would like to do some more work on this then that will be much appreciated.
