Title: Beware using geographic nos for ISP dialup Post by Brad Thiele on Mar 24th, 2004 at 5:08pm
I've seen a few posings here for people wanting/using geographic numbers to dialup their ISPs, supposedly taking advantage of "free" local/national access through their BT plan.
BE AWARE that BT keeps a database of geographic dialup numbers of ISPs which you should check before you start clocking up hours of calls. you can check the number here: http://www.bt.com/Choices/isp_excl.jsp Brad. |

Hi Brad,
Thanks for confirming the BT page. This has been discussed briefly in the following post: http://www.djbnet.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.cgi?board=news;action=display;num=1061315798 Thanks Daniel http://www.saynoto0870.com |
