Does anyone know a number for  the NPC pension payments dept.in Newcastle/Tyne their ngn is 08453013011 It is part of the dept.of Works & Pensions

I don't know what the NPC pension payments dept. is, but this was what I found about that number   :-/

General advice about State Pension or Widow’s benefits paid direct into a bank or building society account.

The only Geo number that refers to this was 0191 2030203, which if you ring now, tells you to call the 0845 number !!  All of which is very nice but as much use as a chocolate fireguard !

If anyone else could find the general switchboard number of Dept. for Work & Pensions (DWP) in Newcastle upon Tyne would be productive !!  I only managed to find -

Hi sandco, My, you are a mine of information!!!  I hope you are not going to dry up now & rest on your laurels. Have you added all the nos. to our site's database file for checking? You're doing a good job, keep it up.

Does anyone have the geograpnical phone number for the pension service?.i have been directed to The D.W.P,but that shows nothing. Thanks.

I think I might be able to help you. I am currently going through all the known 0845 & 0870 numbers WE use, and finding their regional numbers.

For the Dept of W & P for DLA, (disabled living allowance) it is 0208 86526000 . It is my understanding they are all located together.

National Insurance & Income Tax is 0191 2255996

Yes, phoned them myself not 3 hours ago - 0191 213 5000.

They took longer than I expected to answer (it's a switchboard number from the SayNoTo0870 database) but, very politely and without argument, put me through when I asked for the 'Retirement Pension Forecasting Team'.

I am just about to enter the 0845 3000 168 number (from the letter I received from their Newcastle office) onto the database.

Click on the Home button just under the SAYNOTO0870.COM logo at the top of this page and, on the Home page, click on the Click here to add a new alternative number link.

When searching for an alternative number, don't forget to check both the main database and the Unverified database (the grey List Unverified Entries button at the very bottom of the Search to find an alternative number page - which is also accessed from the Home page, not directly from here).

Can't help with a phone number but did you know you can get a forecast online?
