I'm new here so this question may have been asked before but does anyone have an alternative number for Ryanair customer services? Thanks  :)

The Ryanair numbers are currently listed on the unverified list.  Please can you confirm after trying, so that we can move them to the main list.

Both numbers are international numbers (Ireland), therefore use your indirect call providers access code first.  Alternatively use Telestunt's non-signup number 0844 4621 621 followed by one of the following Ryanair numbers (2p/min)

Does anyone have an alternative number for Ryanair call centre UK to save using 0871 246 0000 at 10p per minute. Might be cheap flights but if you have to phone them it could cost more than the flight!!

There is no Central Geographical number as far as I am aware, although there are obviously check in desks at the airports.  Ryanair HQ is in Ireland.  You have to dial 00 353 1 249 7851 to get through.

However if you are with a cheap Int. call provider like OneTel or Swift call, it should only cost you a few pence a minute - Still a lot less than dialling the 0871 number!

If you search our database, we have various call centre numbers for RyanAir, including +353 12497851, +353 18121237 and +353 12497700.

You can reduce the cost by using 1899 @ ½p/min (3p connection) or similar at rates of 2p or 3p/min.   ;D

Ryanair has changed their UK number to 0906 270 5656. The alternatives listed on this site all go to a recorded announcement stopping access. The only normal number which works now is the 'Other Country' +353 1 249 7791

:(I referred to this site's page to find alternative phone numbers for Ryanair, who, surprise, surprise, have a plethora of 0870 numbers and the like.  

The 1899 and 18866 prefixes for their 0870 numbers aren't supported by these phone line undertakers, and even phoning the Irish international code doesn't get you through to them-- occasionally only to a recorded message.  No sucess all week getting through to them on all your quoted numbers, even sending a fax. to their HQ.  Any suggestions greatly received.

I presume that you're referring to Ryanair's 0871 number. This is different to 0870 and 1899/18866 don't support 0871. They do support 0870 and the best one to use is their sister service 18185.  ;)

Which numbers have you tried? See those posted above.

I must also mention, that Alpha Telecom are also good to get through to Irish numbers as well.

If anyone wants to sign up with them and quotes account number 1185422, they will get £5.00 once they have used their account.

This number is a non-geographical one, see National Numbering Conventions page 27, from ComReg, Ireland regulator:

That's to call an Irish "landline".

1899 charge 1p/min to landlines in Ireland and 15p/min to mobiles. I've just called the number and the 1899 announcement says "15p per minute." So that seems to confirm what I was suggesting; that this number is not charged at landline geographical rates. Is this a similar anomaly in the Irish numbering scheme as 0845/0870 is in the British one?

All I can tell you, is that I have telephoned both of these numbers and I do believe that I have been charged the 3p per minute and not at the mobile rate.

This is regarding Ryanair.  Just to say I used the Customer Services provided by SAYNOTTO0870 and kept getting cut off.  I tried the special assistance number (as I had got through on that before) but they wouldn't/couldn't transfer me.  I was told that Customer Services is no longer in Dublin.  It has moved to Romania and Slovakia.  They tried to give me an 0870 number but I told them I was calling from abroad (true) and so was given another international number - for customer services ... +353 12480856.  The customer services number of +353 12497791 doesn't appear to work anymore.

I recently notified of a change in Ryanair's International Number.  However, I tried to use it today - as I need to speak with someone regarding a booking.  They don't have an email service you can use so the only option is to phone customer services.  I am currently phoning from abroad but was faced with an answerphone message giving opening times (until 5pm on Sundays) - my phone call was at 13.50 but the message states that you have to ring an 0908 number from UK or Ireland at £1 per minute - no other option.   Does anyone have any additional or new information on how to get through to Ryanair without having to spend £1 (or 1.35 Euros) per minute? >:(

Ryanair currently give the following numbers on their website:

I agree.  I accept that Ryanair (among others) often offer cheap flights and will find other ways to make money - although I have seen reports that Ryanair are the worst for "add-ons".  I accept (and include) the charges for pretty much all the extras, even though I consider all taxes and extras should be displayed "up front".  Easyjet seem to have (finally) complied with the regulations.  However,  some of Ryanair's policies seem unreasonable and unnecessary.  I'm not sure how they get away with not providing an email address or being more reasonable with call charges.  0870 is costly enough - but having to call a premium rate number - especially when you have to hold on for 5 minutes (at best) until you get to speak with someone. It's naughty.  The last call I made to Customer Services took me 45 minutes to speak with a real person - and then I got cut off!  I know the answer is "don't fly with them then" - but surely they can still make a profit without being so sneeky about it.

I understand that the Government are leaning on Ryanair to comply with regulations.  We'll have to wait and see I guess.

That's the thing with 0871; you pay the premium whilst in a queue. With a 09 premium rate number queuing is limited to 15 seconds. So you can see that they can make more money out of you on 0871 than one of the lower-cost 09s. Remember we live in Rip-off Britain!

For sure.  I didn't realise the premium rate calls are limited to 15 secs waiting time - so thanks for that information.  I just got through to Ryanair (Romania or Slovakia) on +353 12480856 (customer services) straight away - hoorah!  So it might just be the weekends they direct you to premium rate?  Who knows?  However, my excitement was soon to be quashed as I could not understand what the girl was saying at the other end.  She told me that I could make the changes online - but I informed her that it would not allow me to do so - that's why I needed to speak with customer services.  She was extremely unhelpful and cut me off.  Oh well ... seems to be the norm these days!  I have checked out the website - thank you very much - it gives loads of info ... so have emailed various people from there and shall keep trying ... thanks again - your help very much appreciated.

There are verified numbers in the database if you search for ryanair  ;)

The following previously verified numbers are now defunct. The first is unobtainable and the second is network busy (from BT). The fax number still works.

SayNoTo1890.com says of 012480856 that as of 22/03/2011, it may no longer work. It's now 10th April 2012 and it doesn't!

Your question begs the question, where is their a Ryanair office in England? It may be the case that calls to the 0871 number are answered in Ireland and therefore that we are looking for an Irish geographic number.

Ireland has a website that provides alternatives which is SayNoTo1890.com. It does not list a working number for Ryanair.

I had a look via Google for any Call Centre Jobs with Ryanair and I got this, which leads me to believe their Call Centre is based in Dublin or at least outside of the UK.

Having worked for a company who's contact centre was based outside of their operating country, I am not surprised at this.

It would therefore be fair to assume the UK 0871 number diverts to a Non UK Ireland Number.

There is another thread that has been started regarding Ryanair, and I will be directing them here.

I have free European calls and I have found that 00353 12480858 gets me through for the 0871 2460003 number.  It is probably the same person answering the UK and Irish calls.

Thanks very much for posting this; I've added it to the listings. I tried 0871 246 0000, 0871 246 0003 and 00353 1 248 0858 and they all went through to exactly the same recording.

Last year I removed the number 00353 1 248 0856 as an alternative because it no longer worked (see above). This goes to show that one didn't have to look far for another one.

Just to confirm this number is only for people with disability needs and/or special needs. No other enquiries will be dealt through that number.

And that leaves us with no alternative sadly :(

I hope someone finds one sooner than later.

I gather rassil is referring to the number which is listed in the database which has a note alongside with a link to this thread. The number in question is quoted above and is +353 1 248 0858. I have now removed this number.

I have called the number and while you connect it says it is only for reduced mobility and special assistance and that other inquiries wont be handled BUT i got through and they actually did answer other questions.

So it is our best bet to call +35312480858

Firstly as someone living outside the UK I have to say that Saynoto0870.com is a godsend as I would otherwise have to spend a fortune calling UK companies, so thanks.
More importantly I recently got 00353 12480858 from the website to contact Ryanair and it worked like a dream.
It was an emergency (the flight was cancelled), we got straight through, were immediately put on to another flight at no extra cost and then sent an email confirmation. This was on a day when Ryanair had to cancel 30% of all flights crossing French airspace due to a strike.
Meanwhile the Ryanair website was repeatedly crashing and their advertised (and very expensive) lines were all engaged. 
Just one thing, 00353 12480858 is a Dublin number so many UK people would have to pay international call charges. But here in France you can get call packages with free landline calls all over Europe, maybe this is common in the UK too - if so 00353 12480858 and SAYNOTO0870 are even better than I thought! :D :D

As has been suggested else where on this website, there are "dial through" numbers that can be called to give cheap/inclusive calls to International Numbers. So it's worth keeping this number to hand for future calls.

Out of interest what are the call charges to their "premium" number from France? Do they have a French premium number?

Works as of 03 April 2014, male Irish native answered the phone, and dealt with my booking issue effectively and quickly,
even though my issue didn't strictly fall within the number's purpose of serving reduced mobility / special assistance customers.

I was however in a call queue for >5mins.

I tried the 00353 12480858 number this morning and got through in 3 minutes.  They were very helpful and solved my problem.

They do however continue to "abuse" those in need of assistance with this little gem, and 0871 number for Special Assistance.

Additionally if you need help with making Online bookings you can ring them on an 090 number at over £1.50 per minute...

They claim the 0871 number costs "£0.10 per minute from UK Landline" but that is not true.

It's 10p/min plus a 15p connection fee but only from a BT line.

It's 15p/min plus a 17p connection fee from a Virgin Media landline.


That's not the best bit. This is a real gem...

Our customer service number for complaints regarding our Premium Rate number is as follows 0844 2098715, £0.05 per minute. Please note that booking requests, general enquiries or general complaints will not be handled on this line. This policy will be strictly adhered to.

To complain about the premium number... you call another premium number.

The pricing again fails to mention the connection fee or clarify that it's only the BT price - which for 80% of callers is completely irrelevant.

I just called the +353 1248 0858 (Ireland) number. Despite it being a special assistance/mobility line, they were still able to handle my request. I was hold for ~10 minutes, however once I got through, the representative on the line was very helpful and quickly revised my booking, as well as resent an email confirmation.

**A tip for those calling from other countries (I called from the US). I used Skype to place the phone call -- they currently have a 1-month free trial offer for unlimited worldwide calls. I was able to make this call to Ireland for free and now all have to do is cancel the subscription.

Before that, I called the +44 871 246 0000 (UK) number, but I was not able to get through due to a "high call volume". As stated in previous posts, I was unfortunately charged for this phone call from the Skype Credit I had in my account.

Ryanair customer service uses an 03 number. Why do you think you need an alternative?
