Does anyone out there know the geographic number for Halifax Personal Loans ?  The only number that I am aware of is:  08457 24 34 44.  I know, that I could use the main switchboard number during normal working hours, how about out of normal working hours ?  I have geographic number for Halifax Credit Card, but how one for the Halifax Personal Loans ?  

Come on everyone, please could you assist ?

It's in the Alphabetic listing right at the top - 01422 380880
Ask the nice young lady who answers politely for the Loans dept., explaining that "it isn't cheaper using her shiny cheap rate number" and she will graciously put you through to the Loans dept.
Been there, done it  ;D  Hope it helps.

I also found another number yesterday while searching on Google for the Halifax Mortgages dept. - 01422 333333, but when I tried it, they've moved it to an 0870 number.
So as a shareholder, I'm going to have a moan to customer services about it !!

Just to let you know I tried ringing 01422 380880 and asked to be put through to my local branch in Bradford. They refused point blank as it wasn't "company policy". Even when I complained to customer services I was quoted "company policy" and they vehemently denied any 01274 number even existed. I'm currently drafting my letter to Head Office & the local press.

333333 used to be a switchboard that out of hours went through to the telephone banking
