It just so happens that I was looking at them the other day as they have the cheapest fuel prices at the moment (£68 less/year) on Uswitch and the other calculators.
Mind you, then I found that Telecom Plus prices work out cheaper (£114 less/year).

The main numbers I found for them then were:-
General Enquiries : 0845 2700700
Customer Services (customer.services@scottishpower.com) : 0845 2706543 & 0845 2721010

Sorry ! I turned my head for two seconds and the system went down.  >:(

Scottish Power head office is located in Glasgow. Direct link to their website contact sheet

Customer Services,
ScottishPower,
Cathcart House,
Cathcart Business Park,
Spean Street,
Glasgow.  G44 4BE

Head Office : 0141 5682000
Sales enquiries : 0800 0279000

That better  ???

Title: Scottish Power freephone no longer working
Post by jrawle on Jan 5th, 2011 at 11:47am
The number listed in the verified database, 0800 0272626, now gives a recorded message saying it closed down at the end of December, and giving the 0845 numbers as an alternative. Fortunately, 0141 568 6806 still works. The 0800 number should be removed from the database now to save people trying it.

Scottish Power do offer a callback service when you call the 0141 number, and this offered me a callback within the next hour whereas the website said no free slots were available.

Thanks for this. I've removed it and replaced it with 0800 400200 which answers with an IVR (menu) with various options including customer services, sales and cancellations. Option 1 gets through to the same IVR as on the 0845 number and 0141 number.

I can confirm that the number listed in the Unverified Numbers database for the Microgen Clean Energy Cashback department works:

0845 270 1414       0141 568 6379

Thanks. I've promoted it to the verified listings.  :)

Scottish Power now state that 0141 568 6379 has been switched off - tried to use it on 25 Feb 2013. :(

I've just tried it and it says that "this line is now closed" and says to call 0845 270 1414. This implies to me that it is closed now rather than it being no longer available, ever. Try it again tomorrow during the daytime and see whether it works then.

I haven't had to call it for a while as the online reporting system at https://www.scottishpower-onlinecomms.co.uk/fit/ seems to work reasonably well. It's main drawback is the lack of an email confirmation that the reading has been received.

Hello!

The following geo numbers are not working:

Micro Gen team ( yesterday ) 0141 568 6379

and

Customer services 0141 568 6836

They both refer you to the respective 0845 numbers

I just received an email from someone in the Microgeneration team in response to a photo of a meter reading I sent him and it included a direct dial 0141 568 xxxx number on the end. I won't post it here to respect his privacy, but it suggests there might be an appropriate number out there somewhere if 6379 no longer works.

Even after all this time they still maintain that 0845 is a local rate call. See: http://www.scottishpower.co.uk/support-centre/

I had to contact SP today and noticed on their contact page they now have the following numbers:

From a landline
0800 027 0072

From a mobile
0345 270 0700

Full details can be found here:

Looks like the tide may be turning at long last

My Dad got a letter from them today with the 0800 number on it...

Pity that they don't include the 03 number on their letters as well...

I did notice that the last on-line bill (which is a PDF copy) has the old 0845 number still on it!

Lets hope that changes soon as well  :)

Indeed. I listed these numbers a few months back.
