Does anyone know the alternative number for patient services 0845 610 1104. It's the number thats used for calling when you are a student trying to get help with health care costs. When I searched patient services on the main site it comes up with patient prescription authority but a different number so it's not that one

Hi just wanted to say that I rang the number that comes up when you put in patient services and although its a different number to the one on the firms if you choose help with health costs you do get to that dept so I just wanted to let anyone else know that too if they were confused also :)

Hi really sorry about that, trying to do too many things at once and I didn't give all the information that I should have done, so sorry... Anyway here it is...

I was trying to ring Patient Services, Prescription Pricing Authority, Sandyford House.

Little confusing because when you put Prescription Pricing Authority in the search for an alternative number on the main saynoto0870 page it comes up with 0845 6018076 geo of 0191 2325371 and NHS Patient services 0845 6099299

The number I have on the forms for the same Patient Services is different 0845 610 1104 on an HC3 form and 0845 850 1166 on an NC1 form. They are forms for help with claiming health costs for students ect.

I ended up trying the one you have above, geo 0191 2325371 and it works to get through to the numbers I had on my forms aswell if you go through the press number system once connected

So basically 0845 850 1166 and 0845 610 1104 work with geo 0191 2325371

Phew! now you know why I didn't have time earlier :) I just hope I haven't confused anyone anymore than I confused myself now :)

The database also contains a couple of other numbers for the Prescription Pricing Authority (PPA). Just enter prescription in the search field.  ;)

0191 2035100 answers as "Prescription Processing Helpline". Not sure whether it's connected to PPA.
