I have been using this company for some years and while they may not be the very cheapest I like the convenience of monthly itemised billing, no direct debit or advance payment and the fact that I can allocate business calls made at home to my work phone number.

Just got a mailshot from them on their new plans.

Their Talk UK plan for £9.99 per month includes 15 hours of inclusive talk time anywhere in the UK including 0845/0870 numbers.

This is an interesting development.

For £15 you can get unlimited dialup internet and a £15 call credit to spend on any calls you like. www.freedom.ntl.com.  You can use BT option 1 for the line rental, then use the cheap(6p) evening calls , saving your £15 credit for day time calls.
