Does anyone have a number for the Bush helpline. The NGN in the instruction manual is 0870549000, the geographic number equivalent gets me through to Domestic and General, they deny all knowledge of the helpline but have suggested another number namely 08708730079

they give the number 0181 787 3000 and fax 0181 787 3110 for Alba (same company and same number as Bush). The fax is still the same now (with the obvious number change), so it might be worth trying 020 8787 3000.

If that's not it, it's sure to be a number nearby.

You could phone the head office and complain:

If you don't get anywhere there reggie, & if it is the TV Internet service that Bush has that you are interested in, then log on to bushusergroup.com & click on to their forum. I'm pretty sure somebody there will help you. However, if it's just the Bush Tv service that you want, I have no suggestions.

Further to various messages last November, re alternative to helpline 0870 873 0079 for Bush (& Alba).  suggested number 020 87873000 simply gives out the 0870 number and denies all knowledge of geographic alternative.  Alba (who own Bush) are at Harvard House, Thames Road, Barking IG11 0HX.  There is an email alternatve customercare@albaplc.co.uk

Various Google searches threw up suggestions for the Bush (Alba) Helpline.

020 8787 3111 being the main one offered and 020 8594 5533 the other.   ;D

Please let us know which of them work OK and what products they are intended for (if specific), and add them to the database.

I managed to get throught o the head of communications at Alba last year when I first launced the topic. I explained the NGN scenario to him and suggested he look at this website. I then received a letter saying that he had looked at the site and that since many government agencies and the Police force were using these numbers he thought it quite legitimate to follow their lead!!

020 87873111 is an answer phone message giving out the 0870 number

The 020 87873000  goes to a switchboard who tell me the service people have their own switchboard?? and that I will have to phone the 0870 number, she would not put me through but took my phone number, (0870) and said she will pass it on and the will ring me back, I will have to wait and see.

The 020 85945533, posted by DaveM at reply 4 does the same as the 87873000

They did ring back, but where no help at all, when I asked for the geo number he just kept repeating the 0870 number and when I tried to explain about the rip off qualities of these numbers, he put the phone down on me.

Hi, has anyone got the number for Alba CS? the number I have is 08708730078, the numbers in the database do not help,
0239 2391000, is only for  Goodmans
0208 2387650 is a switchboard and will only give the 0870 number
0208 7873000 is the same as 2387650

Where this number relates to, I'm not sure. I think it might be for repairs as the other brands also point to the same address.

Thanks, I have tried that number,it is the head office, they transferred me to a switchboard who attempted to give me the 0870 number, I told them I wanted an 01/02 number or for them to transfer me, they did not have a geo number? and said they could not transfer me, but took my number and said they would call me back, so will have to wait and see

I'm looking for an alternative to Bush Alba plc spares department. Their number is listed as 0870 873 0094 which I've rung several times, but they don't answer and it's earning them a fortune not to do so.

I have joined your posting to the existing thread for this company. I would kindly ask you to post more information in future, such as suggested in the guide.

The 0871 number is listed in the database which you can search using this search engine. Search by 0871 phone number and it will return some entries, including one for the main switchboard for Harvard International, the company that currently owns the Grundig brand. It is also home to Goodmans and Bush among others.

Sadly, Grundig is just a name and not the original company it once was as it we. See:
