Searching for 'INLAND REVENUE, PRESTON' on the BT DIRECTORY ENQUIRIES WEBSITE produces only two Preston entries:

Thanks very much for the information.

I do know about both the telephone number (which is Blackpool) and the office in Preston.

Unfortunately, both the number and office are just glorified helpline outlets and can tell you nothing specific of real value.

The actual Tax Credit Office is around 2 miles away & not even the office in Winckley Sq has any direct contact links with it !!

It's like Colditz!

There is one number (given out by Winckley Sq) - 0151 966 1151, but Colditz either never answer it or keep it off the hook (all day sometimes!)

It just illustrates what a mess the whole Tax Credit admin is in.

So, thanks for your help, but anybody got any other offers.

But at least such arrangements allow Tony Bliar to boast about so many millions of extra jobs he has created!
