Title: BT Broadband Technical helpdesk
Post by reggie on Feb 28th, 2005 at 4:18pm
I just tried ringing the geographic number posted for the BTBB helpline 0191 2184102 instead of 0870 2404650 but it doesn't seem to work. I keep getting a message saying the other person has hung up!!

Thanks for the info; I've removed the old number.

I was looking at the BT Openzone number submitted  & checking others in the same number area. I found 01325 560844 which I hope will do the job you want. They advise me that they cover various BT Internet accounts.

Let me know how you get on.  ;D

Title: BT Broadband tech support!
Post by paulbeattie87 on Jul 21st, 2006 at 3:46pm
Hi all,

Looking for the alternative to 0845 600 7030, just I am spending a fortune calling them for poor support and I have already paid for my 01 and 02 calls. Also I tried the number  search on the home page and it gives you the option but option 3 just tells you to dial the 0845 and as it is in India the operator is not their 24/7 and they are usually gone by the time I call them!! Their is also nothing in unverified list.

All help appreciated, love the site as well keep up the good work!!

Paul

I've joined your thread with an existing one. There are a couple of numbers above that you might like to try.

It was a diffrent number that I requested, the top one I get the same as the post was getting and with the second one it is the first indicent number, to see if their are any problems.

Anybody able to help?

Ring the freephone customer services and ask to be transfered to the helpdesk, but say you want to be transfered NOT put in a cue. long way around but it works.

Yeah I have noticed that work! I just say that I refuse to call them and wish to file a complaint and you get put through. Which I really have filed a complaint as it is so poor!
