This firm are distributors of PC software. I purchased from them using my mobile thinking I was using my "allocated free time" and found that I wasn't. I had to make several calls and in an e-mail to them I asked them to give me their Geographical telephone number but they didn't answer the question. I think another firm is also trading from the address which is Unit 7, Harrier House, Deeside Industrial Estate, Deeside, CH5 2LR Flintshire. I haven't been able to call
DSW Distribution without using the Non-Geographic number and would appreciate a Geographic one if anyone knows of it - thanks!

This company is still registered on Companies House but none of their numbers work anymore, they are all dead :'(

Does anyone have any other numbers for this firm, I have just placed a large order with them, and now it looks like I am going to be conned :-/

I paid by debit card, is there any way I can stop the payment :'(

Looking through the terms and conditions of the DSW website, I found this

11. You may cancel your order at any time prior to your order being processed by telephoning 0845 2263049 during normal office hours

(The "real" number is already listed here on this site, and this page as 01244 289896)

However, despite looking through the whole of the site, this appears to be their only contact number. Not even an 0871.  The "Contact us" is electronic only.

If there is suspicion of a con, then contact the credit card company and ask for their advice. They can do an action called a chargeback. This is where they withdraw the funds back from the receiver.

Personally, if there is no real contact with the company, or they choose to hide it in the 11th rule of terms and conditions, then I would say avoid it like the plague.

OOPS. I've just reread your post. You paid by debit card. You really do need to contact your bank as soon as possible. You might have a problem.
If all else fails, Trading Standards can be quite good. Enough individual complaints can lead to a company being disbanded.

But do try to call them first. It could be a matter that could be easily resolved.
