I've been using 1899 VOIP very successfully for the last couple of months. Now I see that 18866 is offering it as well. Has anyone tried the 18866 VOIP? Is it the same as the 1899 offering? Is there any connection fee on the 18866 VOIP?

I didn't realise 18866 was offering VoIP as well, I've been using 1899 for while now... and must say its great...

I've just had a look at the 18866 version.. and i notice that they DON'T provide any free calls to USA, Germany etc, like 1899.com.. also a couple of places around the world are more expensive than using 1899...

so overall, i personally will be staying with 1899 voip, unless packages change...

Has anyone tried the latest version of 1899's VOIP application? Is there any difference with the previous version. Alternativly has anyone tried another appliction but using 1899?

I did try the two different applications that 1899.com released, weren't too bad i spose... still got them installled, but rarely use them... i mostly use a program called X-Lite (which is a software SIP Phone) the reseaon i use this one is because i use it to recevied free calls via SIP gate, and thought it'd be better to consolidate both services into one program... I also tried using lots of software phones with the 1899.com service, but mostly used IAX phones... also quite good...
