Can somebody help with finding the number of the Argos Extra store in Ancoats Manchester. Their geo number is 0845 1657 412.

I have tried to search the internet via Google but had no luck.

Firstly, as directed in the thread at the top of the Geographical Requests section, please read the Guide to finding geographical numbers.

You have provided no background information, apart from rough location and non-geographical number. A search of the Argos site gives the address (something you should have done!):

Manchester Ancoats
Unit E, Central Retail Park, Great Ancoats Street
Manchester, Greater Manchester
M4 6DJ

A Google of argos "M4 6DJ" 0161 brings up a page with 0161 274 3440.

Thanks for the reply. The number given seems to be the correct one. I tried ringing the store and was put on the automated telephone system which is normal for this company, I believe.

It is still annoying because nobody actually answers the call, you get passed around the automated system and eventually it cuts you off!!
