I appreciate that if you run a small business from home on a Bt residential line there is nowt to stop you using 1899/18866.But how about if you were a small to medium business sole trader/partnership,with a Bt business a/c. Can anybody think of anything to stop you doing this? After all they dont seem to check if you are registering a residential or a business no.If you can then small businesses could save a lot of wonga. |

Our company (39 employees) is contracted to 18866. The PBX automatically routes.
No commercial problems, but we do encounter technical problems. We have regular call failures when dialling our northern office - probably because they are on ISDN supplied by YourComms and we are on BT analogue. I complained to 18866 and got this unhelpful response: "Thank you for your email. 18866 utilize the most up-to-date technology to ensure top quality connections. Due to the complexity of some connections, technical problems may occur. This type of fault is mostly temporary, please try again later. We hope this has answered your question." |
