Why do companies make it so bloody difficult to contact them via a normal number,dont they know about the cost side?
I phoned the freephone number but all they could give me was the stupid 0845 number

Are you saying you tried 01256 758 717 and its not working. I just tried it and seems ok.

I did try the number listed a few days ago,maybe there was a fault on the line.

I just got put threw to this number 0845 650 8000 free of charge buy a very nice man,after calling the head office 4 times.

I spoke to somone who kept asking me why i needed a geographical number.

I asked to speak to there boss and got no number,they dont want to give it out i guess.

Maybe i will get somewhere with th e-mail.

Doubt it though

Guess they want to make money instead of helping the customers.

If you use Google, what you put in is what you get.

Google searches by finding pages which contain the letters/words/numbers you enter in the search box. That is the reason an address (in particular a post code) is useful.

When searching, we are after a page/pages which have a geographical number. Quite often pages list an address, then a telephone number.

Some pages out there might list the phone number, but no address. The best way I can think to search for those is to input the company name and STD code.

You searched "direct line" and that's what you got! If you search "direct line" 020 (with quotes) you get some numbers. Try it.  ;)

The only numbers i have are 0845 and 0800 and 090 numbers,i don,t have an area code :(

I cant use the 0800 numbers as i have been with tesco net for a month.

Hi everyone

I wonder if anyone can help? I have tried to find out alternative numbers for tesco.net

Their billing is 0845 650 8000 and the alternative number is listed on these pages as 01256 758717.

Every time I ring this it is a fax number and I can't get through.

Also their technical enquiry line is 0906 301 8000 and I cannot find an alternative number for this. Can anyone help with these two queries?
