Hi there - I've looked up the numbers for HP Technical Support (0870 010 4320) to find 0191 493 5307 and 01344 360000.

Both go through to a switchboard and refuse to connect me to tech support, saying that I ned to dial 0870 etc. :'(

Any suggestions or alternate numbers?

I have just tried 0191 493 5307 and asked to be put through to technical support..the lady said ok which department. No probs.

I was ready to say the 0870 was out of order and not working but there was no need.

Just try again.

Thanks Alias. I did say the 0870 number wasn't working, she said she'd try it and then told me "it's working now"!! Guess I got a canny operator. Will try it in a different accent next time!

The 0870 number is 0870 010 4320 (then option 3). I tried the geographic 01344 number listed for HP already on the site, but they just referred me to this one. I can't find any info about where HP are based in the UK - their website doesn't give addresses. (I don't know how to find out where 01344 is, and anyway I can't be sure that the two departments are in the same place!)

01344 is in Bracknell, in fact, HP offices are not that far away from me! Maybe I should go knock on their door and ask for some numbers!

Hi, Your geographical number for HP is 01344 360000. Although it is extremely helpful in most cases, the real technical help is in INDIA & if you are out of warranty HP gives the number as 0901 235 2328. The cost to me was £1/ minute. 60p of that was from HP, The other 40p was loaded by my phone provider ( Home call or Pipex as it's now called). An alternative to this 0901 number would be priceless, if possible. Regards to all. Peter.
