I need to confirm application details for an ISA and that is the number given. As far as I can gather the office is in Bootle.

Yes there are quite a few numbers, especially in Bootle

Do you have an actual address or postcode, or are you just guessing that's it's in that town...

Is there ANY other possible information that would help out?

For what it's worth, this number may be worth a try...something like a main office (maybe) of Alliance and Leicester in Bootle...

Thanks for your help.

I have no more details. I know that the number is a Bootle number because I phoned a number which I do have and spoke to an operator who refused to give me the number for the service I require but before she abruptly put the receiver down she mentioned that the office was in Bootle.
