Just dialled a local(0208) number and got the message that it was 30p per minute, yes thirty p!! I know from experience that what they say is what you pay regardless of the website.so please be warned. I hope it is a temporary blip and not the end of cheap calls.

The best thing when this sort of thing happens,is to go to the call18866 site,and have a look at your online invoice,to see what they actually charged you.

I have just perused the 18866 web site.If you go to it
www.18866.co.uk/faq.php and look under FAQ you will see they have posted a response to this problem, and if anyone was overcharged they will refund them. If anyone uses 18866,or 1899 i suggest they keep ther tariff annoucement turned on,so you can pick up charging problems like this. |

I made a call, wrongly charged at 30p. Within the same day, the charge was reversed and the correct 2p applied. Pretty good and quick, I'd say. I suppose it depends on whether or not someone tells them it's happened. Which I did, by email.
