:-/ can someone please offer an alternative to 0870 for the RAC motor insurance helpline..? :-/
I have been kept on hold for more than 10 minutes from my mobile (do not have landline) and still they claim busy!

You havent given us the 0870 no you would like an alternative for. However if you search for a number on this site under RAC you will find some alternative no,s.You will also find the 0800 and 0845 RAC insurance no,s.I dont know if this any help to you because they might not be included in your minutes when ringing from a mobile.

The calls for RAC Insurance are answered for them by BDML Connects call centre in Portsmouth,PO2.8QL.If you cant get through on the 0800 no try, 023 9265 6865

tried the portsmouth number ... they were not amused and very unhelpful!
finally got through on 08453000755
got them to call me back
also the RAC number showing on the 'phone

if interested it is 0145428999

I am just not with it today ... been working night duty and not been to bed as yet..!

all the numbers I am giving you are wrong!

the correcet one is : .....[b].01325385200[/b]

must get some shuteye I am back at the hospital in 3 hours..!

That would be RAC INSURANCE DIRECT in Darlington.The same holding company. but a different part of the group.
