If you look at the 18866 and 1899 sites,you will see that voip is being stopped on 18866,and restricted to there users on 1899 with effect from 20/5/05.

Personally, I find the VOIP offering by 1899 almost impossible to use. Though I can always hear the person at the other end clearly they frequently complain that I am "breaking up" - does anyone else have this problem?

18866 VOIP is back!!! Use it for outgoing and sipgate for incoming with an xten softphone

I was excited about 1899s VoIP, but now I think its just a pain in the behind.. The quality is pathetic, its worse than a mobile going through the clyde tunnel and having to dial 0044 now for UK numbers is sheer idiotic (before one could dial 01/02)

So I just simply dont use it now.. I will keep my eye on these boards though about it, I guess BETA is what it is, I just cant be arsed with something that doesnt really work :)
