BT also gives this free number, albeit at a different address in Kings Lynn:  (0800)  7831392.  Maybe they will put you through - at least you will be able to complain at their expense about their only publishing 0870 contact numbers.

Final thought - if this company wants to cream money even from new customers seeking a quote, what does that say for their customer care philosophy - is this a company with which you want to do business?

I do need to contact this customer as they specialise in a particular type of car I'm buying.

The time it would take to provie all required info for a quote must be a nice little earner for them!!

Just used the 0800 7831392 number and it worked!
It seems to give you the same options as the 0844 number so it's easy to use. :)
