For those that were put off by using Continuous Credit Authority (CCA) when using Call18866, you can now pay by Direct Debit. :)

Having read this thread by dizzydux on the MSE site I noticed that he mentioned Direct Debit (DB) option within his post so having checked into it, I noticed that I'm now given the option to pay by Direct Debit.

This is very new as far as i'm aware, I hadn't read it anywhere else on either forums (I did do a search) or MSE Martin hasn't mentioned it in his UKs Cheapest Home Phone Calls Provider article.

According to Call18866's FAQs, it still mentions they don't do payment via DB!

Can anyone confirm if Call1899 now has this facility?

Go to www.18866.co.uk

go to any questions,then go to payment methods.You will see that cant do D/D yet,but are working on the matter.

Yea, but logging into my account with them it gives me the option to change to Direct Debit and includes the form to fill-in online.

I've not actually got round to trying it myself yet as I need to get the full address of the branch my account is at which I'll get round to doing eventually.

According to my other thread on MSE (link above), a new customer successfully created an account with Call18866 via the Direct Debit method so it must be available now but they've not bothered updating their website!

Tried filling in the Direct Debit form but it just keeps coming back with "Please fill in all the fields".

Believe me, I have!!

But no joy, yet.
Anyone else been successful?

I have changed my payment details to direct debit, apparently successfully. (Although it will be several weeks/months before the amount oustanding reaches whatever their threshold is to collect it!)

Me too. Finally got round to changing over and had no problems at all.
