Just noticed they charge 5ppm for National numbers. Assuming they mean the misleading description of 0870 then is that not one of the cheapest (during the daytime anyhow)?

Assuming that they do mean 0870 when they say National.it is the joint cheapest with there sister companies.

There sister companies do however offer cheaper peak rate calls to 0845 which they dont appear to do.

I just looked on their website and notice that you have to dial an 0844 access number and get billed on your normal BT bill. I understand this to mean that you will probably be charged from the moment you are asked to dial your number, regardless of whether or not there is a reply and that you will be subject to the minimum 5p BT call charge charge.Can anyone confirm whether this is the case?

Yes you do have to dial your onward number when you get through,and you do start paying straight away,and if the person you were ringing didnt answer you would pay min charge.

What they mean by personal numbers is the 070 type follow me numbers.So personal landline is when you have your 070 no diverted to landline.
