can anyone tell me an altenative number for the halls of residence at handsworth wood, prefabley for the room number extensions. if not does anyone know a landline provider that does include 0870 numbers in its free calls?

08707 549xxx is the number but i have no idea what the provider is, its the halls of residence at handsworth wood, uce ???

Records indicate that 0870 754...... numbers belong to Your Communications Ltd.

Can you have someone ring out and see what number if any is displayed on your CLI (caller Line identity) display?

If it is withheld I read somewhere on this forum that Argos do a personal number facility where the number is always displayed of the person calling regardless of whether it is withheld or not. That way, you could ask someone from the uni to ring this personal number (obtained from Argos) and it would/should show up the number they are ringing from even if it is withheld.

It appears that UCE's system is VoIP, see this page on YC's site.

I am also looking for number for UNE Birmingham i Hamstead Halls.

I understand from the University that "Viafon" are the providers fo 0870 754 **** room numbers

does this help

ps have tried to get my daughter to ring from her room and number appears as withheld

sorry typo meant UCE Birmingham
