Title: L8 Shop Alias Cover Shop Post by BobRob on May 30th, 2005 at 10:12am
Hi,
As a new member firstly I must say "what a great service this is." For mobile phone accesssories I use an Internet outfit called L8 Shop or Cover Shop in Formby Liverpool. The provide a first class service for good quality goods at reasonable prices. Delivery is also very competitive. However, their numbers are 0870 242 0256 and 08707 607 706. I have tried Directory Enquiries to get their geographical number but without success. Any ideas. |

Havent had any luck i am afraid. They appear to be part of the Coral Telecom Group. Only number i could find was on 01704 510 but didnt work. They have an E- Mail Facility, why not mail them and ask them to ring you. When they do see if 1471 reveals there number.

Big John,
Thanks...I'll keep researching and if I come up with anything will post it on this sight. A pity because they provide a first class service. But any questions to a human being you have to dial this 0870 number. I will still continue to recommend them. ;) |

Sorry to hear of your problems with the L8 phone shop. I have used them a number of times and found their service to be helpful, reasonably quick and price competitive. I have never bought anything very complicated only simple items like covers and cases. Another branch of the same outfit (I think) is http://www.i1010.co.uk/.
Hope all your problems are solved soon. BTW you have not got a geographical number for them, have you? |

I contacted them on 01704 510057 in April 2004, but I don't know whether this number still works.

Margaret,
If you want to speak to human and not use an 0870 number then try 01704 825 812. I think this is the geographical number for the L8 Shop. They may put you through to other shops in the group. Hops this helps resolve your problem. |

Margaret,
Here are some other mobile phone accessory shops. www.foneshop.com www.mobileshop.com www.mobilefun.co.uk All have web sites you can order from or they have an 0845 type number. I cannot vouch for any as I have always used L8 Shop. |

Indeed. Shame I didn't read this before I ordered from them. From what I can tell they do simply lie about stock levels. I was messed about for 3 weeks and still didn't get my ordered item. In the end I cancelled it, and wrote a quick report of my experience here. http://mpa3000.rg1.net |
