Post by muffinhead on May 30th, 2005 at 5:20pm
Does anyone have the number for Time Computers software assistance which is currently 09065-532-016?

I have tried the numbers provided in the SayNoTo0870 listing, but they all seem to ring out :(!

Try the switchboard no tomorrow 01282 770044,as today is a Bank Hol.

Do bear in mind  that the 090 number is the legitimate use of a premium service.

It is just because its bank holiday.  This was noticed by a friend of mine over xmas period.  He rang the geo numbers as listed here and it just rung out (not answered).  I asked him to wait until it was a working day again and he did and they answered.

Don't panic just ring the geo number you have already tried tomorrow instead.

This is not a legitimate use of a premium number, simply because there are quite a few people who bought a Tiny Computers extended warranty (in my case, a Premier 5 year).  But when they went "bankrupt" (they actually merged with Time and decided to cut costs by writing off their warranties), they cancelled the warranties and instead of 0870 support lines which were expensive enough, we were given £1 a minute numbers to call, even though we were still within warranty period and the company name was still the same.

Now Tiny trades separately as "Tiny.com".  But Trading Standards say although this "new" company claims to have 20 years experience, they are actually legally registered as a 'new' company - hence, there is nothing we can do.

Is this legitimate? >:(
