Hi There,

I am trying to find out the STD number for 0870 066 28 22 which was opened up yesterday by West Bromwich Albion Football club. This is a ticket office number.

Due to the high volume of calls to the number and probable call gapping by the Telco's I am trying to ascertain on which local exchange the STD number resides.

Company is based in Halfords Lane, West Bromwich, postcode is B71 4LF.

I have had a look on Google and have found out that the 0870 066 number ranges is registered to Opal Telecom.

Any help much appreciated.

The OP (posted 15 June 2005) quotes the number as being 0870 0668888 which is similar to the one you quote. Indeed, it's more memorable!

The contact page on the website shows that they have are happy to charge 10p/min at all times from BT landlines and pocket who knows how much of this. Every number is 0871, including the ticket office!

So where have you got that 0870 from?  :-?

I've just tried what is given above by mc661 as the ticket office fax number, 0121 524 3466, and it was answered "West Bromwich Albion", so I think that there is a chance that those 0121 numbers still go through to the club.
