Title: 1899.com
Post by Stealth on Jun 16th, 2005 at 5:49pm
Can anyone tell me why UK calls using 1899.com VoIP service is the same cost or more expensive then the direct dial 1899 service?

It will never take off until they reduce these costs......

Unless that is the plan....

Because they are technically two different products and can be charged accordingly i guess.

However if you pay One Euro Credit with there sister company
www.voipbuster.com  you will get get your voip uk calls for free.

I understand that you only get continued free calls VoIP to landlines only if people keep calling you on your non geographical number.......

Hi Stealth - You are confusing Voipuser and Voipbuster these are two different and un related VOIP providers

Voipbuster ( www.voipbuster.com ) is a commercial provider and part of the Finearea S.A. group.

Voipuser ( www.voipuser.org ) is a non commercial VOIP users group that offers an inbound and an outbound service if you use their inbound service and the usage is not too uneven.  It is designed for all those new to VOIP to be able to experiment, test and learn without having to commit to a commercial provider.

You are right !....... I stand corrected... as you said its VoIPUser which is subject to continued inbound calls... Sorry for any confusion....
