I tried through the UK switchboard but they could not help. But they suggested going through the Netherlands switchboard might get you there -  0031 20 6499123 using 1899 @ 1p/min (3p connection)

Could you also ask them if they are able to connect you to the Reservations desk as well through that number. The one we currently have, 01603 785928, is temporarily out of order.

Thanks.

Many thanks for the info and have tried via Netherlands but to no avail. All the numbers have been changed since the amalgamation with Air France on 6th June. Orignally KLM had an 0800 number but sadly no longer. Appreciate your help - have tried all ways via 18866 (better than 9p/m on 18866 using the 0870 number - especially when I was put on hold for ages listening to music whilst waiting for someone to pick up the call !
Incidentally how come there are still ads for providing an 0870 service when we log-on to the 'saynoto0870' page ? ???

That's not controllable by the site Admin - Google looks at the site content & puts in the adverts IT thinks fit !  :-/

Daniel has covered all this before so have a look at the responses he's given in the Site Related Forum for more info.

(Thanks Bill - you got in while I was busy typing it !)

No more comments here on the 0870 Ads please. Carry it on in the Site Related

The numbers discussed here have all been superseded. The 0207 and 01603 numbers only work during office hours.

For KL reservations 24 hrs, it's cheapest to call +31 20 474 7747 - option 2

For Flying Poo (sorry - Blue) It's always cheaper to call +33 1 58 68 68 68 - option 2

According to Wikipedia, it's:

Quote:
Flying Blue is the frequent flyer program of Air France and KLM. In June 2005, the frequent flyer programs of Air France (Fréquence plus) and KLM (Flying Dutchman) were combined to the Flying Blue program after the two companies merged into a single airline. Apart from KLM and Air France, Flying Blue is also the frequent-flyer scheme of various carriers which used to share Air France's Fréquence plus or KLM's Flying Dutchman schemes, e.g. Kenya Airways (partly owned by KLM), Aircalin (partly owned by Air France), etc. On June 15, 2007, it also became the loyalty scheme of Air Europa as the company was moving towards becoming an associate member of SkyTeam sponsored by Air France (associate members have to abandon their own frequent flyer program and adopt that of the sponsoring carrier). Flying Blue members can earn and spend mileage points on flights and services of Air France-KLM, other companies of the SkyTeam airline alliance and assorted other financial, travel, and transportation companies.

0033158686868 is a landline number. It costs 1/2p/min to call via one of the 0844 access numbers, see http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/index.php
