They have increased their calls to UK mobiles from 4p to 10p per minute.

The cheapest (daytime) rate I can now find is 5p per minute from Abroadtel on 0844 452 0005.

Anyone know of cheaper?

Thanks for the warning, bill. I have just tried to dial my own mobile number via abroadtel and it doesn't work!

So who does provide the cheapest rate that works?

www.call1899.co.uk 10p a minute peak/evenings. 3p at weekends. (3p connection).

Telesavers indirect access no 0871 999 54 54 also 10p a min at all times.

Remember 1899 does not charge until the call is connected.

Dialwise use a 08 number, so you will be charged the minimum charge, just to hear ringing.

I have just used the 5p a minute Abroadtel access number to a UK mobile and it worked fine. I guess it's just a bit hit and miss.
