Title: Update required to cheap call list. Post by bigjohn on Sep 12th, 2005 at 9:03am
Hi Daniel.
The following amendments need to be made to the cheap call providers list. 1.Cheapest supplier of calls to a mobile at weekends now 18185, 2p a min. 2.Free Evening and Weekend Calls to 01/02 numbers. Justdialsaver. 3.Peak calls to 0870.18185 does them for 4p a min 4.Last but not least Onetel are to stop the free Dq service on the 30/10/05 so you might want to replace it with 0800 0192 190. Regards. BJ. |

Thanks for the post - I will look into those and update the cheapest call list as necessary.
Justdial Saver appears to be CPS only, and I can't access the planet-talk website at the moment - I will try again later. Does anyone know if Planet-Talk is CPS only too ? Thanks Daniel |

Yes, they are also a CPS company as well. The cheapest non-CPS company as far as I know is still either Call1899/18866 which both charge 3p connection fee (per call). Kev. |

Daniel.
As you are normally only enter one supplier.I chose justdialsaver as opposed to planet talk because they offer cheaper capped mobile calls offpeak, which gives them a slight edge. BJ. |

BJ,
I don't think Daniel bothers with companies that only allow you to use them via CPS. They have to be non-CPS companies. Daniel, Pricefighter (MSE forum) noticed that at the end of next month OneTel will no longer do free DQ. There is an 0800 number that do free DQ now but the MSE search isn't working so I'm not sure what it is. Can anyone else help? UPDATE: I've just read BJ opening post (again) and he already mentions it. Next time I'll read the posts using my eyes. lol. ;D |
