HSBC's customer contact centre in Sheffield has the number 08457414414, calls can last some time, has anyone got a geographic number for it.

A Google of that number shows that it belongs to Co-op Money.

Do you mean 0845 7 404 404, which is in the database? ::)

Yes, thanks for that, my mistake it was thr 08457 404 404 one that I needed. I have now found it on the database.

HI

I have been trying to find the NGN for 0845 702 3344 for some time now as I get free landline numbers from my mobile provider but they don't include 0845's and I have to call this number quite a lot in my self employed work, the number is used by owners of chip and pin machines belonging to HSBC and is for ordering paper rolls and reporting faults etc...
I have contacted HSBC about it but their attitude was " it's a local rate number what more do you need" ???

Any help would be appreciated !

Can you give any further info such as postcodes etc, what this number is for ? If you can assist there, then it could be possible to get the geo number.

When the number is dialed it takes you to an automated service with three options, order paper rolls, contact helpdesk, manually poll terminal (which directs you to an indian helpdesk), the number is used by shops etc.... that have a credit/debit card reading machine (just about every retail business).
I don't have a postcode or any other information available and because it is India I need to get through to, I can't get a direct line from them as they can only quote their international number !
