0131 658 4000 seems to be the main switchboard number.Let us know how you get on.

hello this is the first time i have used a forum .recently someone told me that you dont have to pay for  the 0845,s etc .i use the intelligent finance online bank (0845 604 4343) quite regular.does anyone know of an alternative number.cheers sean

First port of call would be looking on the database, put in intelligent finance and see what it reveals.

When I looked at the existing entries for Intelligent Finance, I noticed a couple of 01506 5930x numbers, both of which are given for overseas callers on the contact page.

Other nearby numbers are indeed also IF numbers, and it would appear that the alternative for 0845 604 4343 is 01506 593003. The 0845 and 01506 numbers both answer the same, requesting a 10-digit customer identification number.

I have listed them in the database; please can you confirm that 593003 is in fact a suitable alternative to 0845 604 4343.  :)

hello ive just tried the 01506593003 it worked a treat .just enter 10 digit security number then 2 digits from password i then ignored the options until it conected me to an opperator .many thanks sean
