It seems the local alternative to 0871 2661737
ie 01274 4097577 and 409579 have been taken out of service. But you can phone their 'Outside UK' line 02071700737 |

Thanks for the Information but you made two glaring errors there.

The 087* is actually 0871 2261737 and the Geo should have been 01274 409577 I confirmed that the callcentre has now moved to India onto the 0207 1700737, which gives you various Enquiries options to choose from, and I've amended the database accordingly. It's worth noting also that the switchboard of the parent company WILL NOT put you through to the Customer services dep't so don't bother trying !! :-/ |

::)
Jet2 has an Indian call centre, an 0871 number. The listed alternatives are given as: 0207 1700 737 and 0207 1500 374. Obviously Jet2 has cottoned onto the use of these numbers and they no longer work. Has anyone got the new numbers. The Leeds 0113 number does not carry booking information. |

See above. 0207 1700 737 was an "outside UK" number, ie for overseas callers and was presumably published on the website. Looking at the Jet2.com contact page the new number is 020 3031 8103. This number says its for non-UK callers and refers UK callers to the 0871 number. Trying nearby numbers reveals 020 30318101 is the number we are looking for and 8102 is the alternative to the 0906 number. |

Thank you very much for that. How can the site update these details for future viewers? :)

I have already done it. ;) I have also added an entry with the alternative for the 0906 number as well. |

0871 2261 ma737
The 0871 2226 range is allocated to talk talk give the main switchbord a call and to be connected to number ranges. Tell them that you are unable to dial 0871 numbers from your phone. This has worked for me in the past |

Thanks for posting this. I've joined it on to the existing thread for Jet2.com. It turns out that the number you posted which I've highlighted was getting very warm! Firstly though, it is often useful to look at what we have, including what 08 (and 09) numbers are used for which alternatives are being sought. As you can see in the posting I made above, three years ago (at that time) the alternative to the 0871 number was 020 3031 8101 and 8102 was the alternative to 0906 302 0660. These alternatives were the direct alternatives; that is they answered in exactly the same way. I then had a look at 020 3031 81xx: 00 not recognised 01 message says that "number is no longer operational" 02 Jet2.com redirection message to 0901 230 0230 alternative for 0906 302 0660 (albeit it doesn't go anywhere!) 03 Jet2.com Special Assistance Line redirector 0844 472 1031 from UK or 0044 203 059 8337 from overseas 04 Jet2.com Accounts Payable Department 05 message says that "number is no longer operational" 06 message says that "number is no longer operational" 07 message says that "number is no longer operational" All these numbers have a moment's silence followed by a distinct purring ringing tone. 8102 matches the old 0906 number which is just over 50 pence per minute from BT and has now been replaced by the 0901 number which is just over 60 pence per minute from BT. 0844 472 1031 and 020 3059 8337 match and are Jet2.com's Special Assistance Line. Working downwards, I found that 3059 8331 through to 8336 is the Jet2.com Enquiry & Information Line which matches 0901 230 0230. Part of its recorded message says that calls cost 60 pence per minute, but this obviously only applies when called via the 0901 number. 020 3059 8330 is the alternative to 0871 226 1737 Jet2.com's Flight Booking Line. It is for making a new flight booking, changing an existing flight booking or for making a travel insurance or car hire reservation. It says that general enquriies should be directed to 0901 230 0230. It is also useful to look at the Jet2.com contact page to see what numbers are published by the Company itself:
I have also removed some unverified entries and post them here for the record. I guess that these might be for the Jet2.com desk at respective airports:
So, to recap, the alternatives which answer in the same way as their 08/09 counterparts and are now listed in the database are as follows:
Enjoy! :) |

Title: Jet2 change 0871 and 0906 numbers to 0800 and 0333 Post by Ian G on Oct 25th, 2013 at 2:18pm
After robust criticism by Which? and various newpapers including
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/consumertips/household-bills/10367664/Ministers-urged-to-act-as-seven-in-ten-travel-firms-hit-public-with-premium-rate-rip-off-phone-lines.html it appears that jet2 have changed their numbers from 0871 and 0906 to 0800 and 0333 and have done so in under two weeks. Quote:
http://www.jet2.com/new/answers/customer-service It's a shame they still have no idea what these calls cost. Calls to 0800 numbers are free from a landline, but cost up to 41p/min from a mobile. Calls to 0333 numbers are charged at the same rate as calls to 01 or 02 numbers and count towards inclusive allowances on landlines and mobiles. |

You can provide feedback here The IVR menu quotes National Rates when calling the 03 number. It's great they have changed to it, but it needs improving. :) |
