Have just taken over a BT Line I'd been paying for for months into my own name .   BT refunded the old guy the pre-paid line rental from 4th. October,  while they charged me the line rental from 3rd October.

 ie charging twice for the service on 3 October.

  I dare say you might say we both enjoyed service on the day of switching over (the 3rd), even although We only had the one phone line between us.

  It may be only 38p, but they are cute aren't they.
