Title: Looking for w2w.com (0870 216 2020) Post by DonCopair on Nov 2nd, 2005 at 10:29pm
W2W have not sent a product that I ordered over a month ago and despite 7 emails - not a thing from them.
I dont want to add insult to injury by giving them more money with their 0870 number so has anyone their geographical one? Most likely starts with 01481 as they are in Guernsey. W2W.com - Don't go there!! >:( |

The Channel Islands are excluded from call packages such as BT Together. On BT they are charged at 3p/2p/1.50p per minute. So if you can call them on Saturday, you'll be paying the same whether it's a Guernsey or 0870 number.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply but no weekends for w2w. Telephone (UK) 0870 216 2020 (9am – 5.30pm, Mon–Fri) Fax (UK) 0870 216 2022 * Calls are charged at standard national call rate. I could fax them I suppose but if they don't answer emails....? |

Thanks for the info on W2W.com. I was also looking for a number for them as I was suspicious that they and XLShop were the same outfit.
XLShop are a joke, a bad one! Decent, reputable sites/sellers don't take orders for items which are out of stock, but not XL. They state that an item is in stock, let you order it, and then some days later it suddenly dawns on you that nothing's arrived. You check the site and discover that it's not been despatched because they have no stock!! Out of 3 items I've ordered, 2 of them were subsequently found to be out of stock, so I won't be ordering again, and that goes for W2W.com if they're part of the same outfit!! |

With reference to Big John's post, that London standard landline number works.
As previously mentioned, I've just attempted to order from XLShop.com only to discover several days later that they don't have any stock!! I've now also discovered that they've charged me for the item even although they have no stock, so I phoned that number and got put through to Customer Services. So everybody do themselves a favour and don't touch XLShop, W2W etc with a barge-pole!!! PS. Is there somewhere I can go on here to officially confirm the relevant info so that it comes up when you do a search? |

Thanks for that. I've added an entry and confirmed it as verified. I've put the 0870 number for W2W and the 0870 for XLShop in it so searching both will return it. |
