That's better. The address is an Ad Mail one, so presumably, like a PO Box, it doesn't actually exist.

A search of Healthy Living Direct on 192.com doesn't get anywhere. A Google of the 0870 number doesn't get very many results, but one result mentions an e-mail address: orders@healthylivingdirect.com. There is no website at www.healthylivingdirect.com. However, a check of who it's registered to gives an address in Marden, Kent.

A check of healthylivingdirect.co.uk shows that the registrant's address is the same as the administrative contact for healthylivingdirect.com:

hansi, a bit off tack but if it's health food type stuff try www.healthydirect.co.uk who are based in Guernsey & I have found to be less expensive than others. 08001075757.

The only other thing to do is to buy from the Kingstown Products website. The telephone number quoted is the one I posted above. The website is at www.kingstownproducts.co.uk.

Trying to find alternative number for Healthy Living Direct Mail order catalogue.  Address given as admail 3360, YORK, YO1 6WY.
Telephone number given is 0870 1202028. Can anyone help please.

The posts complain of long waits when phoning - the usual 0870 scam as well as non delivery of orders even though the money had been collected.

The best suggestion/advice seems to be:

I noticed in their catalogue that they are a member of S.H.O.P.S. (Safe Home Ordering Protection Scheme) I found their number on the web and spoke to a very helpful young man and got a refund within 48 hours.....impressive what!!!!!!
Anyone who has problems with this company needs to ring 01628 641935 and speak to Tim Pratley at S.H.O.P.S. cos he can really make them respond. He is continuing my complaint as I paid them by debit card but they would only refund me by cheque.

Their number is 01377 232330... NB please don't waste your time emailing them on their website email page as they will not reply. I even emailed someone at the head office at Kingstown and again no one replied. This is a bad company. My advice is to reject their delivery (if indeed you get one) then ask for a refund, then go somewhere else

Looked up number (0871 472 4250) and got 01377 232330 - this is correct, but when I rang the number and selected 1 for Customer services, there was a recorded message that their  offices were currently closed.  It was Sunday, so I tried again today Tuesday about 11am and got the same message.

This time I listened to the whole message, which gave the opening hours, including Sunday.  So I called the 0871 number, selected 2 for help, and got "All of our advisers are busy .... Please hang on ...."  I hung on for 5 minutes and gave up. 

Tried the 01377 number again, just out of curiosity, selected 2 for commercial enquiries or some such, and got through straight away.  I just hung up.

So I think they're on to us!

If the only telephone numbers advertised for customer services begin 084, 087 or 09 you should complain to Trading Standards via the Citizen's Advice national Consumer Helpline on 0345 404 0506.

Regulation 41 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 requires that post sales helplines, where offered, must use numbers starting 01, 02, 03 or 080.

They also breach the Premium Rate Regulator rules so you could also complaim to them.
