Title: The Mobile Outlet (TheMobileOutlet.co.uk) Post by Sumaiya on Dec 22nd, 2005 at 1:37pm
Hi,
Sorry, but I have more info than previously thought!! ThemobileOutlet.co.uk Address: 3/4 Riverdale House Dockfield Road Shipley BD17 7AD 0870 1999 333 I'm thinking of getting a new mobile from themobileoutlet.co.uk website. They seem to have a good deal, but I wanted to chat with someone over the phone to discuss a few things. I clicked on their contact us link and this is their number: 0870 1999 333. Does anyone have an alternative number? Many thanks Sumaiya ~ Thread title edited by Dave |

I found an 0845 number you can try:
0845 070 5151 Otherwise I suggest you e-mail their customer services instead. If they don't reply, take your business elsewhere. |

Thank you jrawle and thank you Heinz for your replies.
I think I'll email them rather than call! Thank you anyway. Sumaiya |

Often some one recognises an address as being that of another company and has a Geographical number for that.

Can anyone help me with the geographical number for The Mobile Outlet.
0870 1999333 is their only contact number. At least they tell me what place I am in the queue so I can hang up if I'm number 6 or so. My daughter spent 45 minutes hanging on from position 2 so even that doesn't always work. Any help, please? |

A check of Internet Archive shows that Mobile Outlet changed from 0845 070 5151 to the current 0870 during 2003. Previous to that it used 0800 9700967 (now out of service).
There is an entry in the database for Mobile Outlet with the geographical 01274 714204 which is engaged at the moment. The NGN is 0870 0271212, which I can't find anywhere. |

Does the number in the above post (01274 714204) work for anyone or is it just constantly engaged?
If it doesn't work then is there an alternative number?? Thank you in advance. |

There were several entries for The Mobile Outlet, all unverified, in the database:
I've removed the 'not recognised' numbers. |

Does the 0845 number still work? It's better than using 0870 anyway.

Hi, Just thought to direct you to the reams of bad publicity about this company. Just type The Mobile Outlet into Google. I should have known better than to deal with them having waited 45 minutes at position 2 on their 0870 number only to be told at a later attempt that the number was not working. In my experience this number and their e-mail address or snail mail address never works!

Thx. I am dealing with a numnber of disputes relating to the Mobile Outlet and, indeed, some other cashback retailers. They all look as though they will result in legal proceedings being issued. |

They took 2 payments of £1.99 from my credit card and despite not being able to supply the phones have not made a refund or even replied to my emails. I know it's only £4 but I'm not prepared to spend a fortune on 0870 numbers to get hold of them. Will you be using the Small Claims Court, SayNo? |

Rely to NapoliBill Thx. I understand the point of principle and irritation. I suspect that companies like these may make a lot of money cumulatively banking on people not bothering to waste their time (understandably) on pursuing modest or derisory amounts. You might consider taking up the issue with the credit card company, assuming the sums taken were not authorised. No legal duty or responsibility is or will at any time be owed or assumed to you. This is just an informal suggestion. You should obtain your own legal advice. |

Sorry, forgot to mention: yes, expect to be using the small claims court. |
