Is there please anyone out there who is able to please help the non-techie amongst us?
Would be grateful for "encoding" and explaination for VOIP / CPW (Car Phone Wearhouse) / CPR / WLR and any other techie abbreviations which may come to mind. :-/ Mny tks. |

Google has a facility which gives you definitions of words from various sources. Into the search line, enter:
define:<search term> Note the colon. For example: define:voip Clicking the green link under each definition takes you to the site where it comes from. It also works for any other words, so it can be quicker than checking the dictionary. |

Did look on GOOGLE (without "define"). After delfing through a dozen or so entries, took the easy way out and started this thread. With your help, it quickly provided the answer. Thanks again. |
