It's just dawned on me that the introductory pages of the 18866 & 1899 sites have:

As BT, very many companies, and even 18866, 1899 & 18185 themselves, all insist on calling 0870 'National', has anyone thought of complaining that they don't honour the promise on the front page for '0870 National calls'?! :D

oh now there is an idea ;) although I very much doubt that the reaction will either be speedy nor what you would want to hear... Give it a go though..
