You might like to look at where this company is based. The website of the company owning the offices has some nice pictures of the units. I think we can safely say from the pictures that E7even are in a "rent-a-room" scenario. After googling to try to find some info for you, I came across this page, which I think you should read.

For those who don't want to click, this is a highlight, directly quoted.
"So, here's the rub. I live in the same town as the e7even customer support center. I took a trip to their office and found a sign on the door saying [sic.] If you do not have an appointment you will not be seen. [sic.] You can't get an appointment because you can't talk to anyone. Ultimately, after a few minutes of knuckle rapping, Mike Todd the Customer Services Manager agreed to see me. He informed me that my statements referring to other e7even customers were "irrelevant". I'm a customer, my thoughts on the service my acquaintences and I are receiving are very relevant and should be even more so to the Cust. Services Manager!! I requested a refund on my upgrade price and a full refund from August up to the end of the 2 year term. He promised to call me with a MAC code and a refund amount. He phoned a few days leaving a message informing me that I had been disconnected from their service and no MAC code was required an a cheque for £55.00 would be in the post. I notice on their site that they have my incorrect address and as I am no longer a member I can't amend those details. So I will never receive the absurdly low figure cheque in the post. "

And you want to do business with this firm. They also operate under the name Touch-Telecom, again with 0870 numbers, and from pay as you go offices.

Thanks, I have been following the lengthy discussions on the ASDLguide site since late December.  I have also been attempting to warn people about this company.  This additional information is helpful.

I really do resent being stuck on an 0870 number while trying to talk with their customer services, who don't want to talk to me.
