http://www.globalangels.org/contact.html

Phone: +44 (0)870 7652643.

No cost of call, and pretending it can be dialed from abroad. Not that I want to donate to them anyway.

Personally, I worry about any 'charity' which has a P.O. box number but does not publish a real address.

In this case, the Postcode checks out to a limited company!

Global Angels Ltd
P.O.Box 47636,
London
SE4 1ZJ

Found an address and proper number to go with that po box, courtesy of http://www.charitychoice.co.uk/AZListing/gl.htm
Global Angels
10 Greycoat Place,
Victoria, London,
SW1P 1SB, England
Tel: 020 7960 6663

Other info found elsewhere........
Annual turnover: 100k - 499k
Website: www.globalangels.org
Staff Details: Full time staff: 2
Part time staff: 1
Volunteers: 5

Only 8 people, but turning over 450k per year. I wonder how much comes from the phone call charge. think I need to become a charity.

QUOTE...........
The big difference with Global Angels is that the charity promises that ‘for every pound that Global Angels gets directly from the public through the website or through other events, £1 will go directly to support projects working with children’.

END QUOTE...................

So how are the 2 full timers and 1 part timer paid if ALL the funds are used as intended?

Tsk, tsk, you are reading their blurb and applying logic.
I suspect that it is meant to be read by people wanting reassurance without thought.
But a very valid question that might interest the Charity Commissioners?

Further reading, and further application of logic, filling in the information that's there but not visible....

"for every pound that Global Angels gets directly from the public through the website or through other events, £1 will go directly to support projects working with children’

Does this mean that any or all of the money given by sources other than the immediate purse of the public is not accountable? If a company gave £1000, does this go to a different outbox than the £1000 from the public?
Just a thought.

And with the money that Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield, offspring of the founder, and reasonably successful vocalists in their own right, earn, do you not think they could support mummy's charity a little better. Surely any self sacrificing member of todays current pop world would jump at the chance to let the world know that they're a major supporter of a charity. That's too good a piece of P.R. to ignore.

Kenya, South Africa, South Africa, India, China, London and South Africa.
One English charity, and that's Great Ormond Street. If you're going to pick only one cause in your homeland, pick a popular one.
