Have checked all aspects of alternative numbers but can't trace this company.  My daughter has a spurious entry on her mobile phone bill for int dir enq from 118115. Have referred matter to Ofcom who stated nothing to do with them said try Icstis who gave me details of Smile Telecom P O Box 42 Bury BL9 6WU Tel: 0870 7735335.  Icstis said had no further details of this company but an internet search revealed had been fined by Icstis for a reverse text scam! Any help with a geo number would be appreciated.

Load of info out there about Smile being a bunch of scammers.

One site http://www.noconline.org/newsdisplay2.aspx?id=2725  shows John Seddon to be a rep of Smile Telecom
Unfortunately there appears to be 22 John Seddons in the Lancs area, so you can't call him personally

A search of the postal address shows the company to actually be trading as TELEPORT NETWORKS LTD, but using the same phone number  01539 568390

It would appear that smile is a front for 6 spammers who operate outside of the UK, and refuse to answer the demands of icstis to refund the money unless their clients authorise it.
The 6 spammers are
Fast Way Holdings in Croatia;
Greenbay Ltd and Quartel Ltd in the British Virgin Islands;
Indiano Communications in India;
Litmus Ltd in Florida
Vertical Media Ltd, from Kuala Lumpur.
